Who we are
This website is operated by Alicia & Enzo Di Santo, performing as Velvet Rose ("we", "us"), joint controllers for the personal data described below.
- Controllers: Alicia & Enzo Di Santo (Velvet Rose)
- Based in: Brignoles (83170), France
- Email: live@velvetrose.fr
Velvet Rose is an artistic activity carried out under the French intermittents du spectacle status; it is not a registered company and has no SIRET or VAT number. As non-professional publishers of this site, our full postal address is held by our hosting provider and made available to the competent authorities on request, in accordance with Article 6 III-2 of French Law no. 2004-575 (LCEN).
What data we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us through the contact form: your name, email address, and — optionally — the date and type of your event, together with the content of your message.
Our web host also records standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and technical operation. We do not use analytics, advertising or social media trackers.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a possible booking — legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To keep the site secure and working — legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies
This website does not use advertising, analytics or profiling cookies, and it does not load content from third parties: our fonts and the short audio previews on the Repertoire page are hosted on our own server, so no data is sent to external providers simply by visiting.
We only use a strictly necessary technical cookie, created by our contact form to keep your session and protect against form abuse (CSRF). Under the ePrivacy Directive and CNIL guidance, cookies strictly necessary for a service you requested do not require consent — which is why you will not see a cookie banner here.
Who can see your data
Your message is delivered to our own mailbox. Our hosting and email providers process the data on our behalf as processors. We do not sell or share your data for marketing, and we do not transfer it outside the EU for our own purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for the time needed to reply and, where a booking follows, for the duration of the engagement. Enquiries with no follow-up are deleted within three years of our last contact, in line with CNIL guidance.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of or objection to processing, and portability. Write to live@velvetrose.fr.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL.
Language
A French version of this policy is available. In case of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
